Hey gang, if you have a couple of minutes and an empty stomach, consider helping a good cause. Dining Out to End Cancer has added three more amazing media sponsors (Citysearch, OpenTable and Yelp) and was recently featured on Good Day LA.
The Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation’s Dining Out to End Cancer program has returned this month, offering discounts at some of Southern California’s best restaurants just when tightened budgets need them most. Cards are available for purchase online at giving.ucla.edu/diningouttoendcancer for $25 each, making them perfect gifts for your foodie or philanthropic friends. Throughout November, card holders can present their cards at participating restaurants to receive a 20% discount on their check (excluding alcohol, tax or gratuity). Proceeds will support highest priority cancer research at UCLA’s Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer.
The list of more than 30 popular LA eateries signed up to participate includes Ciudad, BondSt, Border Grill, Ketchup, Il Grano, Susan Feniger’s STREET, Spark Woodfire Grill and West Restaurant & Lounge.
